Visual Vacation with the Travel Photographer Of The Year


Feeling depressed about a British summer? Why not excite over your own mini adventure by exploring the hidden worlds uncovered and captured through the lens at the Travel Photographer Of The Year. 

Hosted this year by the Royal Geographical Society parallel to the Royal Albert Hall. The winners of this year's competition will be exhibited in the centre of London's museum district. Each individual picture is levitated by an inspirational story which captivate with a soft silence, so intoxicating your senses are transported. Enough to arouse any travel bug.

Last years entries spanned shots across 75 countries giving a varied and organic feel to the talent and this year the competition is set to be even more rigorous. Below are a few spectacular examples from 2010.


The exhibition runs until May 10th 2011, with it's international tour starting early in 2012. Admission free. For maps look for SW7 2AR.
